Outdated Vented Commercial Boiler Heating & Hot Water System
The heating and hot water system at the Dartford Golf Club was very old and was in dire need of an upgrade. They had an old vented heating and hot water system which comprised of two commercial boilers, a copper tank for the hot water and two cold water storage tanks in the loft.
One of the commercial boilers had failed so the club decided to see how they could upgrade their entire heating and hot water system instead of just replacing the boiler.
Removal of Hot Water Copper Tank and Cold Water Storage Tanks
The main issue they had was that the water pressure throughout the club was generally low which led to a lower customer experience in terms of the showers and taps in general.
The Dartford Golf Club contacted Richard at MultiPlumb and asked them to design and install a new system which would resolve the issues they were facing.
We decided to install an unvented pressurised system so that the water pressure throughout the club would be strong.
To do this we need to remove the existing copper tank and cold water storage tanks in the loft.
Installation of Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinders
The old cold water storage tanks and the Albion copper cylinder for hot water have all been removed.
The next step was to install two 300l Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinders. Because of the narrow entrances, it was difficult trying to fit them through the narrow opening in the doorway but we managed to squeeze them in somehow!
Next job is to install the Potterton Paramount Four 60kW Commercial Boiler.
Commercial Boiler Installed & Job Complete
With the two 300l Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinders fully installed, The Potterton Paramount Four 60kW Commercial Boiler is ready for installation.
